Dr. Beatty is a consultant and a professor for the College of Business Administration at San Diego State University and a professor in the Graduate School of International Relations and Pacific Studies at the University of California at San Diego. He has been a member of the Board of Examiners for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, a Senior Examiner for the California Quality Awards and a member of the Panel of Judges for the California Governor's Award. He holds a BA from Franklin College, an MS from Indiana State University and a PhD from the University of Northern Colorado with a double major in applied statistics and psychology.
