Laura Thanasse, CCP, CBP, GRP, CHRP, is senior vice president Total Compensation for Scotiabank. She previously held the position of vice president of compensation strategy for Sun Life Financial Inc. in Toronto. She holds an honors bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Waterloo, a certificate in human resources management from Centennial College and a postgraduate diploma in HR and training from the University of Leicester, England.
